Webinars
Talks in a virtual world
Just as there is the possibility of holding lectures or symposia in the real world, there is of course also the possibility of doing so in the virtual world. Webinars are a classic example for this. These can be held live or pre-recorded.
Independence of time for speaker and participants
This gives webinars a big advantage over real-world lectures, because both speaker and attendee are not necessarily tied to a specific time - even for what appears to be a live event. For the speaker, this works because webinars can be recorded before the live time period. From the attendee's perspective, it works because the live event can be recorded and always available at a later time - in other words, on demand.
This way, you can set an agenda and have presentations go live at a specific time, but without losing potential attendees because they don't have time at the time of the presentation or may have to choose between multiple presentations.

Agenda and Speaker
To give your participants a good overview of the webinars and speakers, you can map your agenda and also the speakers. The agenda is used so that the participants know which presentation is taking place at which time. The speaker view is there so that the participants already get an impression of the speaker and can also contact him or her, if the speaker has agreed.
